Be carefule what you believe in

Hypnosis does not make you weaker - it simply shows you are not aware of your true power.

Our beliefs about ourselves is the reason that does not allow us to see our true power and capability.
A weightlifter can be hypnotized and convinced to not able to lift off a pencil from the table. At that moment he actually does not become weaker than he used to - he simply BELIEVES that he cannot do it.
On the one hand, he tries to lift the pencil by voluntary effort and contract the proper lifting muscles. But on the other hand, the idea "you cannot do it" causes contrary muscles to contract quite apart from their will.
And so the negative idea causes the weighlifter to defeat himself - he cannot express or bring into play his actual available strength. 😮💪
